We keep things simple — no tech background required. Just bring your curiosity and a few basics, and Brent will guide you the rest of the way.

By registering for our web design and SEO workshop hosted by Brent and Betty, you agree to the following terms:
1. Minimum Age Requirement
Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of the first session. By enrolling, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
2. Health & Safety
Our sessions are held in a private home environment, which includes access to a backyard and swimming pool. While we aim to create a welcoming and relaxing space, all participation is at your own risk.
You agree that Brent and Betty are not liable for any injury that may occur on the property, including but not limited to:
- Slips, trips, or falls
- Use of the pool or outdoor space
- Accidents during arrival, departure, or breaks
Please act responsibly and remain within the designated teaching and break areas during the course.
3. Food & Allergies
We provide complimentary snacks, coffee, and drinks during scheduled breaks. If you have any food allergies or sensitivities, it is your responsibility to let us know in advance and to consume food at your own discretion.
We are not liable for any allergic reactions or health issues related to food or drink served during the course.
4. Respectful Conduct
This is a shared learning environment. Participants are expected to be respectful to others, use appropriate language, and maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere. Disruptive behavior may result in dismissal from the course without refund.
5. Refunds & Cancellations
As space is limited, we require full payment to hold your spot. Refunds are available up to 14 days before the first session. After that point, payments are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by us.

HISTORY OF YOUR HOSTS
Brent and Betty Truitt launched their first web development and SEO firm, Bonavista Web, in Calgary in 2003. For nearly a decade, they helped businesses grow through clean design and smart search engine strategies.
After moving back to Saskatoon in 2012, they founded SaskSEO, continuing their work with clients in Canada and the United States.
In 2024, they sold SaskSEO to shift gears and embrace a more relaxed pace in semi-retirement — launching a new venture focused on teaching others how to build their own websites and understand the basics of SEO.
Their workshops blend real-world experience, a cozy learning space, and a touch of fun.

Brent brings over 20 years of experience in web development, SEO, and digital strategy. He began his career as an aircraft maintenance engineer, where he developed the precision and systems thinking that still guide his work in tech today.
